Upfront Pricing

How Our Pricing Works

Nobody likes surprises on a bill, especially from a plumber. So we do it differently. It starts with a flat $79 service call. We come out, figure out what is wrong, and give you a clear, flat-rate price to fix it.

What it costs

Flat $79 service call

We tell you the number on the phone.

Credited to the repair

Approve the work and the $79 comes off.

Priced by the job

The quote you approve is the invoice you get.

The Service Call

Our service call is a flat $79. We will tell you that on the phone.

Call around and you will notice something. Most plumbers will not give you a straight answer on the phone. We will. That $79 covers coming out, diagnosing the problem, and giving you a clear, flat-rate price to fix it.

Approve the repair and the $79 is credited toward the work. So when you move forward, the visit effectively pays for itself. No hourly meter running, no guessing, no pressure.

Every price we quote is all-in. If we say a job is $299, that is the total. The service call is already included, and there are no surprise add-ons stacked on at the end.

How We Price

The number we give you up front is the number on your invoice.

We price by the job, not by the hour. That means the price we quote is the price you pay, even if the job takes us longer than expected.

You are never penalized because a repair turned out to be tougher than it looked. Flat rate protects you, and it keeps us honest about the number we gave you.

When A Job Holds A Surprise

Nobody can see through a wall.

Here is something most plumbers will not say out loud. Homes in East Tennessee, especially older ones, sometimes hide things. We pull an old tub cartridge and find the valve behind it has corroded. We start clearing a drain and realize the clog is deeper than a snake can reach.

It happens, and when it does, honesty matters more than ever.

So here is our promise.

“This is an older valve, and if it does not cooperate, here is what that would mean.”

Where we can see a likely complication coming, we tell you before we start. And if something unexpected does turn up once we are into the job, we stop, show you what we found, explain it in plain language, and give you a clear flat-rate price to approve before we go any further.

The work does not continue, and the price never changes, without your okay.

No pressure, no scare tactics, no charges you did not agree to. Just a straight conversation and your decision. That is how it should work.

Why We Do It This Way

Honest pricing is one of the reasons we started.

Honest, upfront pricing is one of the core reasons we started Holston Plumbing Co. We are a veteran-owned company, and we treat your home and your trust the way we would want ours treated.

Flat-rate pricing keeps everybody honest. You get a fair price you agreed to in advance, and we get the chance to earn your business the right way, by doing great work and not by padding an hourly bill.

Pricing Questions

Straight answers about what things cost.

The questions people call and ask before they book, answered here so you do not have to.

Have a question about pricing? Just ask.

We are always happy to talk through how pricing works before you book. Give us a call or request service and we will take good care of you.

Do you charge a fee just to come out?

Yes, a flat $79 service call. It covers coming out, diagnosing the problem, and giving you a flat-rate price to fix it. If you approve the repair, the $79 is credited toward the work.

Is the service call credited if I book the repair?

It is. Approve the repair and your $79 goes toward the cost of the job.

Will you give me a price over the phone?

We will always tell you the $79 service call up front, no runaround. For the repair itself, we give you an exact flat-rate price once we have seen the problem in person, so the number is accurate instead of a guess.

Are your prices all-in?

Yes. The price we quote is the total. Service call included, no surprise add-ons at the end.

How do you decide the price for a job?

We price by the job, not by the hour, using consistent flat-rate pricing for common work. You get the same fair price whether the job takes us thirty minutes or two hours.

Ready to talk about what your home needs?

No call center, no answering service. You talk to the team doing the work.
