The Service

Small jobs, done properly.

Fixture work is the plumbing most people live with every day. A faucet that drips, a toilet that runs, a showerhead with no pressure, a sink you have wanted to replace for two years.

None of it is complicated work, but it is easy to do badly. A rushed install leaves a slow leak behind a cabinet or a toilet that rocks and breaks its seal in a year. We take the time to do the connections properly, test under normal use, and leave the space clean.

Warning Signs

What we handle.

The everyday fixture work that most homes need at some point.

A dripping faucet

Usually a cartridge or seat and spring. A quick repair that stops real water waste.

A toilet that runs

A flapper, fill valve, or float out of adjustment. Cheap to fix and it shows on your bill.

A rocking or leaking toilet

The wax seal or the flange underneath. Worth fixing before it damages the subfloor.

Low pressure at one fixture

Often an aerator or cartridge rather than anything in the walls.

A fixture you want replaced

Sinks, faucets, toilets, showerheads, and tub hardware. Bring your own or we will source it.

A leak under a cabinet

Supply lines, shut-off valves, or the trap. Small leaks in cabinets do quiet damage.

How We Work

In, done, cleaned up.

Fixture work should be quick and tidy. That is how we run it.

Look at what is there

We check the existing connections, shut-offs, and mounting before quoting, so there are no surprises mid-install.

Quote before we start

A flat written price covering the work and the cleanup. You approve it first.

Install or repair properly

Proper connections, correct seals, and new supply lines and shut-offs where the old ones are past it.

Test and clean up

Run it under normal use, check for leaks at every joint, and leave the space the way we found it.

Questions

What homeowners ask.

Can I supply my own fixture?

Yes, you can source your own fixture and we will install it. Holston will not warranty the actual parts when you source the fixture yourself. For fixtures we supply, if a manufacturer-covered defect occurs within one year of installation, Holston will handle the warranty claim and replacement labor at no charge.

Can you do several fixtures in one visit?

Yes, and it is usually cheaper than separate visits. Make a list of everything and we will quote it together.

My toilet rocks slightly. Is that urgent?

Not an emergency, but do not leave it. The movement breaks the wax seal, and a slow leak under a toilet damages the subfloor before you ever see it.

Do you replace shut-off valves at the same time?

We recommend it whenever the old ones are stiff or corroded. A working shut-off is what turns a future emergency into a minor annoyance.

Still have a question?

Call us. A person picks up, not a call center — and you will get a straight answer.
